As an Independent Optician we aim to provide a personalised, professional service in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We happily see families and are child friendly. With hundreds of quality glasses, sunglasses, lenses and contact lenses to choose from our knowledgeable Opticians will be there to advise and guide you to the right style and/or solution for you.

Established in 1953, Lawrence and Harris have served the eye care needs of Caerphilly and its surrounding communities for nearly 70 years.

Our Caerphilly practice is located at the top of Caerphilly town, just 2 minutes walk from the train/bus station. Car parking is available at the rear.

The practice has 3 dedicated testing rooms and 2 equipment rooms for imaging/OCT and visual field testing. We have large displays of glasses and sunglasses ranging from premium designer to budget styles.

We benefit from our own onsite glazing lab serving both practices which allows us to offer quick turnaround of orders.

The Ystrad Mynach practice is located in the centre of Ystrad Mynach’s shopping area opposite the arcade.

This smaller practice has 1 dedicated testing room and also hosts a large display of glasses to suite all budgets and tastes.
